I think my boss migrated.
I have decided to quit working at offices and try sales instead.

I cried to sleep after my birthday. Straight from some 4am.
How ironic.

I learnt a grave lesson that night.

You see, my birthday falls on 23July.
I was out the whole day and only got home till early in the morning around 1am on 24July.

And i got hit by a wave of sadness upon realising something.

I saw this in the fridge:


Cappucino Cream cake topped with strawberries, sliced kiwis and peaches and lots of dark chocolate.

My 'freedom' cake.
The cake you get when you hit 18 for girls, 21 for boys.

A quarter of it was eaten off with a spoon, most probably by my mother.

Imagine your parents waiting for you to be home to celebrate your birthday with them.
With them instead of friends.

Waiting for you to blow the candles and make birthday wishes.

I mean what i trying to place here is the thought that they were waiting for me.

Waiting.

Argh.

And i was thinking: How come Daddio didn't call me home... or sms me.
Just let me know he bought cake home.
I mean he never use to get my birthdays right. Probably old age catching on but still...?

And then i got a 'flash' quote:

Sometimes loving someone is letting them do what they want, even if it puts yourself(you) out of the picture.

Familiar much?
An episode of 'Ghost Whisperer' taught me this.

How sentimental.

Ru Feng wanted to go shopping with me.
So we did.

We went to Novena's Velocity.
It's been quite awhile since i've been there.
I think i will go back there today to get a few stuffs.

Anyway, we lunched at the food court.

Took this cool view. (below)
You can see the buildings through the glass with the reflections of the food court colliding. Nice.

Went to look for my brothers at Safra after that.
Niu gave me a Chun Li figurine. How...cute.

Got a spontaneous call from Wei Sheng around midnight after i closed shop for birthday outings.
So off to Jalan Kayu.
His treat. =)
Guan Jie, Jun Guo and his cousin tagged along.
